Guardian Consent

Last updated October 30, 2026

This consent applies when you add a child to your River Haven account to book, buy and sign for them with a business on River Haven. It's part of the River Haven Terms of Service between you and River Haven Ventures LLC.

What you confirm

When you add a child, you confirm that:

  • you're 18 or older;
  • you're the child's parent or legal guardian, with the authority to make these decisions for them;
  • the child's name and birth date are correct.

What you can do for the child

  • Book classes, sessions and appointments, and buy what the business sells, for the child.
  • Pay with your own card. If you save it, the Card-on-File Agreement applies.
  • Accept the business's waivers, agreements and booking policies for the child.
  • Manage the child's bookings, and get the texts and emails about them.

The child has no sign-in of their own.

Signing for the child

When you accept a waiver or agreement for a child, you accept it as their parent or legal guardian, on the child's behalf and on your own. What it covers is set by the business's document. River Haven records the document and its version, your name, your relationship to the child, the phone number you confirmed, and the time, IP address and browser, and keeps the record with the child's record at the business.

The child's information

  • River Haven collects the child's name and birth date from you, and keeps what you book for them. We use it only to provide River Haven to you and the business, never for marketing.
  • You can see and correct it in your account, and ask us to delete it at support@riverhaven.app. Records the business must keep stay with the business.

When the child comes of age

When the child turns 18, or reaches the age of majority where they live if it's older, the waivers and agreements you accepted for them stop counting for new bookings. They then accept them as an adult, with their own phone, and can take over their record by confirming that phone.

Removing a child

You can remove a child from your account at any time. Bookings already made stay until you or the business cancels them, and records the business must keep stay with the business.
