Texting Addendum

Last updated October 30, 2026

This addendum applies when you turn on texts to your clients in River Haven. It's part of the River Haven Terms of Service between River Haven Ventures LLC and your business.

1. What River Haven sends

River Haven sends texts about your business's bookings to clients who opted in through River Haven: reminders before a class, session or appointment, waitlist spots, and the changes and cancellations you make. They come from River Haven's toll-free number, (888) 554-9313, start with "River Haven:" and name your business. River Haven writes them, and you choose which kinds are on.

2. Clients' consent

Clients opt in on River Haven's checkout, booking and account pages, with a box that's never checked for them, and confirm their number with a code. Their consent is to River Haven's texts about your bookings. You can't turn texts on for a client, and clients you bring over from other software start with texts off. When a client replies STOP, texts stop for every business on River Haven until they reply START.

3. Your use of client numbers

You won't use client phone numbers from River Haven for marketing texts, in River Haven or anywhere else, unless the client gave your business separate consent for them. You won't send texts in River Haven's name.

4. Allowance and packs

Your plan includes a monthly number of texts (Terms of Service 4.6). Past it, texts come from packs you buy in the app. With none left, reminders go by email until the next month.

5. Pausing texts

River Haven can pause texts for your business, or for every business, if a wireless carrier or our messaging provider flags them, or to fix a problem. We tell you when we do.

6. Delivery

Delivery depends on wireless carriers. River Haven isn't responsible for texts a carrier delays or doesn't deliver. The matching emails still go.

7. Turning texts off

You can turn texts off in Settings at any time.
